Dear parents,

The Chinese New Year celebration event is scheduled for this Saturday, February 6, 2016.

Below is the general logistic. (For students who are required to do rehearsal, please follow the directions given by the class teacher or instructor.)

1. There is no need to bring school bag, but please bring a snack if needed. (Snack bar is closed that day.)
2. Please have your child wear a Chinese costume if you have one, or wear a bright / red color top for good luck!
3. Please arrive at school by 9:30am (or the time your teacher told you if you are part of a performance). Students may drop off their coat in the classroom, but do not leave any valuables there.
4. Please bring your child/ren directly to the cafeteria for games. Game cards can be obtained at any game booths.
5. 9:30 to 10:30am is Game Time – Parents are required to accompany their children during game time.
o Please take care of snack (in the cafeteria) and bathroom break during this period as well.
o Game prizes can be redeemed from 10:15 to 10:30.
o Lunch ticket can also be picked up from PTA during this time.
o Chinese cultural craft items will be on sale for fund raising.
6. 10:30am, please bring your child/ren to their classroom. Attendance is taken at this time.
7. 10:45 to 10:55am Parents and students enter the auditorium and be seated
8. 11:00 to 12 noon Cultural performances in the auditorium.
9. After cultural performances, please pick up your child/ren from their classroom.
10. Noon to 1:30pm Lunch and raffle in the Cafeteria – additional information regarding lunch will be sent out by PTA later this week.
