In previous years, we have raffled off new, unused toys and household gifts at the Chinese New Year celebration. We would love to continue this fun event at this year’s celebration on February 21, but WE CANNOT HOLD THE RAFFLE WITHOUT PARENT VOLUNTEERS LIKE YOU. The parent volunteer raffle committee will work together to plan and run the raffle. Please email chs_pta@ymail.com to participate, or if you have any questions about the raffle committee.
Additionally, we will need volunteers to help with game booths in the morning, serving food, set up and clean up. Please also email chs_pta@ymail.com if you would like to help in one or more of these areas.
Also, don’t forget to sign up for the Chinese New Year luncheon! Tickets are $3 for students and teaching assistants, $8 for everyone else. Children 3 years old and under are free. You can sign up for the luncheon at the PTA table in the cafeteria.
