Dear parents,

As announced earlier, the Chinese New Year celebration event is re-scheduled to this Saturday, February, 23rd. We will be having game booths and cultural performances in the cafeteria. Lunch is canceled; refund can be obtained from PTA on 2/23 or 3/2. There will be goody bags given to students at the end of the celebration.

Below is the general logistic. (For students who are required to do rehearsal, please follow the directions sent by the class teacher or instructor.)

  1. There is no need to bring school bag, but please bring a snack if needed. (Snack bar is closed that day.)
  2. Please have your child wear a Chinese costume if you have one, or wear a bright / red color top for good luck!
  3. Please arrive at school by 9:30am.Students may drop off their coat in the classroom, but do not leave any valuables there.
  4. Please bring your child/ren directly to the cafeteria for games. Game cards can be obtained at any game booths.
  5. 9:30 to 10:30amGame Time – Parents are required to accompany their children during game time.
    • Please take care of snack and bathroom break during this period as well.
    • Game prizes can be redeemed from 10:15 to 10:30 or after cultural performances.
    • Chinese cultural craft items will be on sale for fund raising. Please see picture below.
    • Lunch refund can be obtained from PTA during this time.
  1. At 10:30am, please bring your child/ren to their classroom. Attendance is taken at this time.
  2. 10:45 to 10:55amParents and students (led by teachers) return to the cafeteria and be seated
  3. 11:00to 11:50 noon Cultural performances in the cafeteria.
  4. After cultural performances, please pick up your child/ren from the sitting area and help them line up to receive the goody bag.
