“Bring Your Own Cup” BYOC Coffee Break

It’s BYOC Coffee Break this Saturday! Please join us in the Cafeteria for Dunkin Donuts coffee 咖啡, Red Rose tea 紅玫瑰花茶, Loretta’s home made cookies 曲奇餅, and phoenix egg rolls 鳳凰卷. We encourage parents to Bring Your Own Cup (BYOC) for the coffee/tea, so we can save on costs and be environmentally friendly. 

Dim Sum Vendor
March 10  •  11 AM
The Dim Sum Vendor will be in the Cafeteria around 11am. Frozen dim sum, home made soup 老火湯, congee 粥, and dessert 糖水 will be available for purchase.

CHS School Journal – Last Call for Articles on March Publication
Our CHS School Journal is taking on a new look this year. We are seeking journal contributors year round. Materials may include and are not limited to articles written in Chinese and/or English (<2,500 words). Submit your articles/photos/recipes to School Journal Editor-in-Chief, Siu Kam at school-journal@CHSnj2000.org by this Saturday, March 10th to be published for the upcoming March 24th publication. 

CHS Ice Skating Event
March 17  •  3:30 pm – 5:00 pm
Join us for ice skating on Saturday, March 17 at ProSkate. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Tickets will be available at the door for $8 per person (includes skate rental).

Self Defense Class
March 24  •  11:00 am – Noon
Christopher Albanese, 4th Dan in ITF TaeKwon Do and 2nd Degree Black Sash in Wushu, will be teaching self-defense at CHS on March 24 from 11am to 12pm. Mr. Albanese is the head martial arts instructor at Legacy Life Center in East Brunswick. Students who sign up will be released from their classes at 11:00 am, after finishing their midterm. The class will be open to anyone age 7 and older. Attendees age 14 and older will be given the option to stay for an additional 15 minutes to learn more intense self-protection techniques. Cost for the session is $10. Sign-ups for Self Defense Class start March 3. Children cannot sign-up on their own, a parent must sign child(ren) up at the PTA table.
