CHS’ Family Fun Day is this Saturday, October 1, 2016! The theme is Family, Friends and Fun. It will be held at the outside field of the school (corner between Major Road and Kingston Lane). You can park at the normal parking lots in front or behind the school building. Parking is not allowed at the side parking lot where the activities take place.

Note: The forecast shows some chances of rain on Saturday. If it rains on Saturday, we will move all activities to the cafeteria. We do not plan to make this “change” decision until Saturday morning. So, please check the signs near the front-door if it rains when you arrive.

Here are some reminders for Saturday.
• Family Fun Day is a regular school day. Teachers will be taking attendance.
• There is no need to bring book-bags.
• Please don’t forget to wear the T-shirts that PTA has bought for the students.
• Do NOT go into the classrooms. Please GO DIRECTLY to the outside field.
• Please arrive on time, by 9:30am. Students should report to the teacher upon arrival. Each class will be assigned a gathering place, marked with a “class flag”. Please fill out a name tag for yourself and your child.
• If you have not yet signed the Waiver Form for your child, please sign and return it to the teacher on Saturday.
• Students are encouraged to bring a friend to join the fun. If your child is bringing a friend, please take him/her to the “tent” to sign in and fill out a waiver form.
• PTA is providing snacks to the students. Please see separate email from PTA for further details.
• Please bring addition snacks and water for yourselves, since PTA will not be selling regular snack bar items this Saturday.
• There are no picnic tables and chairs in the field. Please bring your own lawn chairs or picnic blankets.
• Game time (including photo/selfie and break) is from 9:30am to 11:45am. Parents are encouraged to participate and play together with your child/ren. After each game, each participant will be given a raffle ticket, for a chance to win a prize.
• Raffle starts at 11:45am. If you have any new toys to donate for the raffle, please bring them to the “tent” when you arrive on Saturday.
• Finally, please keep the field clean and help clean up after the event.
