CHS Family Appreciation Day:
As mentioned during the graduation ceremony, this year’s Family Appreciation Day is scheduled for Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 10:30am to 2:30pm. The event will be held at Reichler Park in South Brunswick Township, 540 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852 (the same place as last year).
Below, please find the link to sign up for the Family Appreciation Day. The due date for signing up for the event is August 12th, 2023.
Family Appreciation Day Sign-up
PTA will provide sandwiches, chips etc. for lunch, only to those who have signed up. Lunch is free for enrolled students, their parents/guardians (up to two) and their non-student siblings (up to two). Any other guests (up to 6) who want lunch will be required to pay $10 per person. Please remit the fees by August 12th. Instructions on how to remit the fees will be given on the confirmation email after you sign up.
We anticipate that this will be a fun filled day for everyone. Students will have an opportunity to meet their teachers and their classmates in person. They can pick up their textbooks and hand in their summer homework (if finished). Other activities include face-painting, balloon twisting and games such as water balloon toss, spoons & eggs, tug-of-war etc.

Registration Reminder:
For those who still need to register for the 2023-2024 school year, please be reminded that a late fee of $15 will be incurred if your payment is not received (or postmarked) by July 15th. Payments must be received to complete registration. Detailed instructions can be found on the registration forms that were sent out in May.
Please register as early as you can. That will help us plan better for the next school year. For questions or to request a copy of your registration form, please contact chsnj.registrar@gmail.com.
CHS Promotional Flyer:
As we begin planning for the 2023-24 school year, we would like to solicit your help in promoting CHS. As such, we are asking the CHS families to take the attached CHS promotional flyer and place it in high traffic areas, where you would expect people interested in learning the Chinese language would frequent. This could be at your local restaurants, supermarkets, libraries, community centers, etc., or just forward the flyer to your friends via email. Please indicate that CHS is a non-profit organization with the goal of promoting the Chinese language and culture in our communities.
