We need your food donations for the 6th Annual fundraiser on May 16 in memory of Mr. Yuk Li and Miss Stephanie Au-Yeung.

Any READY TO EAT food items will be accepted – it does not need to be homemade. Alternatively, you can also donate money and the PTA can purchase food on your behalf to sell at the fundraiser. If you can donate something, please let us know in advance at CHS_PTA@ymail.com. Food donations should be dropped off at the cafeteria on the morning of May 16. The food will be available for purchase throughout the day.

All proceeds raised by the PTA on this day will be donated to the school’s existing scholarships in Mr. Li and Miss Au-Yeung’s names. The Yuk Li fund provides scholarships to college bound students as well as funds for the school’s effort to develop their own textbooks. The Stephanie Au-Yeung fund provides prizes to students with perfect attendance.

You can also support the fundraiser by buying lunch at CHS on May 16. Hannah called last week to inform me she will donate sushi to the fundraiser again! Lee has been back to work since March with less hours. I will make mung bean tong shui and one more item which I can’t decide. The PTA will be selling noodles and chicken wings. An update of food items to be sold on May 16 will be posted that week.
