Dear CHS parents, TA, and students
The school is recruiting more helpers. Each position has its own “busy cycle” (the period of time where efforts are needed) as specified below. Some positions are open to parents only, some to TAs only, and some to both.
This may sounds like a cliche, but it is very true that volunteers actually get so much more than what they give — friendship, experience, sense of achievement, new skill sets, and last but not least, fun!

- Stage production team members
- T.A. and parents are welcome
- Busy cycles: the week before the three shows in Jan/Feb, May, and June
- School journal editors
- Parents are welcome
- Busy cycles: the 2 weeks before the two publication dates in Feb and June (plus low volume activities throughout the year)
- School web team members
- Parents are welcome
- Busy cycles: low volume activities throughout the year
- CHS Quiz Competition organizing team members
- Parents are welcome
- Fluent Cantonese proficiency is needed
- Busy cycles: three weeks in May
- Chinese New Year Celebration organizaing team members
- Parents, TAs, upper-grade students are welcome
- Help coordinating logistics related to CNY celebration and/or being MCs
- Busy cycles: 4 weeks before Chinese New Year
- Printing team members
- Parents are welcome
- Need to have printer at home (school can reimburse cost for consumable)
- Busy cycles (every week from Sept to June)
- CHS Cantonese Video Contest organizing team members
- Parents are welcome
- Busy cycles (a few evenings in May/June)
