The Tax Seminar originally scheduled for last Saturday is now re-scheduled to this Saturday. Here are the details:
Event: 2014 Individual/Family Tax Return & Affordable Care Act Seminar*
Date: Saturday, January 31st, 2015
Time: 10am to 11:15am
Place: Cafeteria, “Dance Room” at the back corner.
Speaker: Jodi Adelman, MBA, Senior Tax Adviser, H&R Block
* Topics include: Affordable Care Act & its tax impact, 2014 Standard Deduction, Personal Exemption, Income Tax Brackets, Capital Gain Tax Rates, IRA Contribution limits and Education Credits. There will be some time for Q&A as well.
CHS has obtained some $20 off coupons, for new clients who file their tax return through an H&R Block office. In addition, H&R Block will donate $20 to CHS. Note: it is your personal decision of whether to use H&R Block’s service. But if you do, please don’t forget to pick up the coupon and “fund raising form”.
